In the case that the forming conditions cannot be met, the hot stamping forming technology of ultra-high-strength steel plates is gradually being studied internationally. This technology is a new process that integrates forming, heat transfer and structural phase transformation. It mainly uses the characteristics of increased plasticity and reduced yield strength of sheet metal in the high-temperature austenite state, and is formed through a mold.
The materials for making stamping dies include steel, hard alloy, steel-bonded hard alloy, zinc-based alloy, low melting point alloy, aluminium bronze, polymer material and so on. Most of the materials for manufacturing stamping dies are principalement acier.
